Riding through life.

Riding.

Forward
moving
striving
beyond
what lies ahead.

Don't look back
Don't procrastinate
Appreciate what you have
like riding on a road it will pass

Feel the breeze
cleansing your thoughts
brushing of what you've gone through
You are free.

Rain will poor
Sun will shine
Take it all
time after time

Driving along the journey
Break before a corner
accelerate out.

Let the pistons of your hear guide you
Find your meaning
It's your ride

Be the vehicle
Control and steer
No one is beside you

It's just you
Your bike

Ride
Fuel your life

I wrote this while on a motorbike journey through majestic Laos. Where I was only surrounded by the simple way of life and nature. This allowed me to see the true meaning of what it is to be alive. Life is constantly passing us by, ever changing. To often we forget and just surcome to the daily routine of Western constructed life. But our soul is embedded in our body and this is our reality, our machine. Our physical being is greatly influence and conditioned by our environment. The idea of a Western norm is enforced on us. Once you are outside of that, you instantly feel a sense of freedom on control. Your life is what you yourself choose to do, on a daily basis. You are ever faced with corners, choices and it's persistence and endurance that will set you free. When you're in touch with your inner self you realise that life is not about doing what others do or expect of you. It is about fulfilling your dreams and aspiring to be that person that your inner self is guiding you to be. Listen to yourself and follow yourself. Freedom and harmony are the key to your self peace and love.
