'Lets do this...get straight meditate like a Buddhist'-NWA.
Dry backpack, sneakers, long sleeve shirt, sunnies and helmet...we are ready and set to go.
First we hit the road from Thakheh to Vieng Kham. Route 13...a very straight motorway...but atleast we got this out the way on the first day....plus the straight road made it easy to test out the speed of the bike...hehe.
Yes...i never know how to keep my eyes open for shots....but here is lunch...i was vibrating as i ate this...hungry from just riding a 105 km long straight road and another 41 km ahead..but this tasty chicken soup from a street vendor really hit the spot.
Passing peaceful villages...
Rice fields...
Goats...
And dogs!!.
Stopped at a look out point to be mesmerized by the surrounding limestone forest.
The photo doesn't illustrate it well enough....Mind blowing awe!!!
Cheese...or as we say Kim Chi!!
The Karst limestone topography is really something else. Now lets get to the village...6 hours on the road...
I'm ready to hit the sack.
