Wat Xienthong, Luang Prabang.

This is one of Laos most important monasteries built in 1559-1560.

It remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art.

There are over twenty structures in the grounds including a sim, shrines, pavilions and residences as well as its surrounding gardens.

The traditional art is carved and mosaic-ed throughout the structures.

Depicting ordinary life.
